Can OPWDD pay for camp?

Camp is a named IDGS category with an annual cap and an in-state, permitted-camp rule. Family Support has its own camp path. A listing is not a reservation and not an approval.

The usual blockers

Out-of-state camp, a camp that duplicates Waiver Respite camp, or a program with no public price and no health permit are common gaps.

Kit should keep the permit, dates, and published price as first-class facts.

Pick the route later

The same camp can be IDGS or FSS depending on the person's budget. The public page does not decide that. The family request does.

Can Kit pay the camp deposit?

No. Kit prepares the packet. The Fiscal Intermediary or Family Support provider pays or reimburses after their process.
